Revival Ihya Academy - Hifz (Quran Memorization) Track
“The seeker is not a seeker until he finds in the Qur’an everything he seeks.”
Revival Ihya offers a Hifz track for students who would like to memorize the Quran while pursuing academic studies. Hifz students will attend Quran classes in the morning and attend academic classes in the afternoon.
To be eligible for the program students and their families must:
- Pass an Arabic reading assessment.
- Commit to a schedule for review outside of school. Failure to properly review will result in dismissal from the program.
- Continue to meet academic expectations in other subjects, including English, history, math and science.
The expected time to complete the program is 4 years. Some students may finish early, while others may need more time and support.
Hifz Track Schedule
Quran classes run from 8 AM to 12 PM. Academics follow the normal schedule from 12 PM to 3:30 PM.
8:00 AM – 9:45 AM Morning Session: Class begins with focused memorization, guided by the teacher to ensure accuracy and proper recitation.
9:45 AM-10:45 AM: Mid-Session (Recent Review): Students review their most recently memorized portion, strengthening retention and preparing for steady progress.
10:45 PM-12:00 PM Final Session (Long-Term Review): Students revise older portions, ensuring that previously memorized Qur’an remains strong and fluent
12:00 PM-3:30 PM Forms (mixed-age classrooms) rotate between integrated studies, art & handicrafts, science, nature study, history, and geography.
Students take 4 outdoor breaks throughout the day for 15-30 minutes between classes, not including the weekly nature study.
