Home Education Program

“I recommend the revival home education program to any homeschoolers. The process by which materials are chosen lives up to our values. The curriculum is designed to gradually set a firm foundation upon which to build. Parents are mentored to approach the tarbiya of their children from a prophetic lens. Everything can and ought to remind us of our Creator. Parents are mentored to inspire questions and observations from their children. As a parent, I realize my role in cultivating or demolishing my child’s sense of awe in learning. To start any learning material with more experiential and poetic knowledge before diving into analytical thinking has been a grounding principle for us. Additionally, the Arabic immersion and Islamic studies program are beautiful additions. We have benefited from hearing/reviewing a matn with Ustadh Omar and hearing his commentary and du’a reminders. This class also helps the children foster a sense of community by hearing the older students interact with Ustadh and his compassion for the children. There’s so much more I can say but I’ll end with the relief that comes with someone who knows what they are doing having divided the yearly goals into weekly size lesson plans instead of having to do that from scratch.
